This intriguing question was posed to me by an online comment, and as someone who loves diving into subjects that catch my curiosity, I am adding my personal take, I invite you to join me in exploring our shared adoration for these epic accessories—the sexy heels! Yum, Yum! High heels these stunning gravity- defying wonders that makes most of us drool. I get Carrie Bradshaw in Sex In the City. I will shop with you any day. Question is do men and women love them for the same reason?I am sure It will vary for all.
The feminine perspective
For me, high heels are not just footwear; they are a statement that embodies elegance, confidence and a touch of glamour. When I slip on a pair, it transforms the way I feel. I feel stronger and more commanding, yet when I sit with my legs crossed, I sense a certain sexiness. You could call them visible lingerie; the difference is that these babies can be consistently seen by anyone who walks past us or sits in front of us. When I see your eyes dance down to my feet and I catch that glimpse, know that I will aim to meet your gaze and give you that teasing look.
The selection of footwear I adore includes the elegance of a stiletto heel. The more delicate and refined the heel, the sexier I feel. I'm not one for what I call "chunky trunky heels" or block heels; I categorise them with Crocs. I say burn them! They are like small buildings on one's feet, heavy and hazardous to health. I would walk like a penguin in them. They just lack the grace and poise that I adore in stilettos. You will never find me wearing them, NEVER! In fact, they should be banned, removed and eliminated
There's an undeniable art to choosing the perfect pair of heels, and for me, the pinnacle of that art is the exquisite stiletto. Jimmy, Christian, Jeffrey: these shoes are all about how they make us feel—that body confidence as we strut down the city centre as if we're walking down the runway at Paris Fashion Week, accidentally knocking down Naomi Campbell as we own our space. Sorry darling.. but “Mr Delicious is needing my attention.” Remember, good shoes must go with a good foot care regime, and I mean perfectly manicured nails. Your shoes complete your look, and when your appearance is nothing short of fabulous, expect nothing less than an amazing night.
With the shoes comes the sound that they make; the click of heels on wooden floors makes me want to dominate. It's a desire that compels me to command your attention. I stand taller, stronger and ready to see how well you follow my instructions. But know this: the reward is sweet, succulent and juicy. I might even keep my heels on the whole time, legs firmly on the floor, or legs and feet off the ground. One thing is for sure these heels will not leave me.
The Masculine stare
The male perspective, and here is my take. They see us like cats in heat. Yes, a Persian cat is what I see—the feline grace: sultry, affectionate and sexy. In our heels, our backs are slightly arched, accentuating our perky bums under that silky black dress. Like a cat who slowly sways her tail from side to side, we sway our hips as we walk. They notice our gait as if it's all happening in slow motion. How sweet can she be? The height of our heels exposes the toned muscles of our legs with each sway of our hips for every step taken forward. It captivates their gaze, drawing them in as they notice the subtle interplay of strength and softness in our movements. Our elegant confidence radiates through our poise. Like a cat's mesmerising purr, our laughter and voices beckon them closer, just how curious are you? They're intrigued by our independence, the way we can be affectionate one moment and, for some, commanding the next. Perhaps a suck on her toes, perhaps she will trample me in her $1,000 shoes. Our well-groomed appearance, from our hair to our manicured nails, speaks of self-care and sophistication that they find irresistible. Just as a cat's eyes can convey a world of emotion, our glances and expressions communicate volumes. A teasing smile and a pair of amazing heels. The question is: will the heels be on the floor, in the air, or on your body?
A share loved
Here are my perspectives: the shared love for high heels, the celebration of beauty, and the expression of individuality. Whether worn or admired, and how they're worn and what happens behind closed doors, is really up to your imagination. So do men and women love high heels for the same reason? Perhaps not entirely, but the appreciation for epic heels is universal: women, men, cross-dressers, transgender it doesn’t really matter —whatever tickles your fancy. Just remember to wear these heels and strut your stuff.
Do you have any other perspective to add?
